This group will consider approaches to public involvement in prevention research, from the perspective of researchers and funders. It will provide a space to discuss challenges and enablers to successful integration of public involvement in prevention research, and identify examples of good practice, helping to shape and inform future work in this area. The experiences of public involvement members who engage with the research projects will also be captured, and their active input to shape the programme of work and associated outputs will increase relevance and value.
