Major cross-sector summits focused on creating healthier, more equitable cities will take place in Belfast this May and Liverpool this June, hosted by the UKPRP GroundsWell consortium.

Titled Designing Healthier Cities: A Cross-Sector Summit on Health, Equity, and Place, the one-day events will bring together leaders from policy, practice, community organisations, academia and industry. The programme will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive sessions aimed at sharing evidence, showcasing innovation and fostering collaboration to improve urban health and reduce inequalities.

In Belfast, a keynote speaker from the World Health Organization will provide global perspectives on healthy city approaches and tackling health inequalities.

In Liverpool, a keynote speaker from a leader in generating Healthy Urban Places in Local Government will provide national perspectives and practical solutions to developing healthy city approaches and tackling health inequalities.
